Sum MYEB3 population_YEAR over all 318 local authorities.

Limitations & comparability

Sum of 318 non-overlapping local authorities on April 2023 boundaries. Uses the full revised July 2026 time series, not earlier vintages. International arrivals are moves from outside the UK for at least 12 months, including returning British citizens; moves from Scotland and Northern Ireland are internal and excluded. Flows cover the year ending 30 June; population is at 30 June. Estimates are uncertain and subject to revision; unrounded counts are not accurate to individual people. Original XLSX is preserved as ordered byte parts with a reconstruction manifest and checksums.

Use the archived source vintage and stated reference period. Do not mix national and England/Wales observations.
